ABSTRACT
Associatively abstract compositions are one of Vozbinas’s hobbyhorses. Perhaps they are even the most ironic
works. Everything works like in actual irony – the essence is told in a roundabout way, words are minced. On
the other hand, the artist talks through painting itself. Colour combinations, textures and layers play the key
role here, and canvas is their area and territory. Improvisation and impromptu, energy and movement also
act as fully-fledged members of the orchestra. Perhaps that is why these compositions are so musical or, more
specifically, jazzy.
